Thank you for your interest in our brand new community, Hillside Crossing! As the community is currently under construction, we are not currently conducting tours. Virtual tours and renderings are available on our website, under Photos. The property will be constructed in two phases: Phase one homes are currently available (10 residences – 60% AMI 1, 2 and 3 Bedrooms and one 30% AMI 3 Bedroom); Phase two, will have homes available this Spring (the balance of the 75 residences). See below regarding rental information and how to apply (we are actively filling our applicant interest list)!

Rent Information and Income Qualifications

• Minimum income standard (homes without rental assistance) is based on gross monthly household income being at least 2.5x the monthly rent. Minimum income limits do not apply if household receives mobile housing assistance (VASH, Section 8, MRVP, etc.).

• Maximum Income is based on the number of persons in the household, as per LIHTC guidelines. Contact us for details.


• Selection is by Lottery. Applications can be completed online here. You may download an application (to print and complete) by clicking here. • We held two information sessions for those interested in applying on 9/29/2020 and on 10/21/2020 from 6pm – 7pm via teleconference (9/29:; 10/21:

• The application deadline for the Lottery was 11/20/2020 at 11:59:59 pm (mailed applications must be postmarked by this date). Applications received after this date will not be included in the Lottery and will be entered on a waitlist based on date/time stamp of application receipt following those ranked Lottery applicants.

• The Housing Lottery was held electronically on 12/09/2020 and posted to our Facebook page - check out our Facebook page here ( to view a recording of the Lottery. For those applicants who are Lottery-eligible, visit this page to verify your application number was drawn as part of the Lottery: The Management Team will reach out to all Lottery applicants in writing confirming their Lottery number once the sorting process has been completed.

• All applicants must be determined eligible in accordance with the Department of HUD regulations and must meet the family size requirements for a designated bedroom size (maximum of 2 persons per bedroom; minimum of 1 person per bedroom preference). Your application must also be complete to be eligible for Lottery submission. If your application shows that you are eligible, you will be notified in writing by mail or electronic mail prior to the Lottery date and you will be provided an Application Registration Number (ineligible (incomplete) applicants will also be notified in writing and will be provided the chance to appeal and cure issues before the Lottery). Only eligible applications will be entered into the Lottery. Your place on the waitlist will be decided by a Lottery.


• After the Lottery, the waiting list will remain open until further notice. Applications will be processed in order of receipt from that point forward.

• Note: The Lottery held in December populated a waitlist which is currently being used to fill homes currently available and those available this Spring. However, we are fast moving through the waitlist and encourage applicants interested in the community to apply today!
